Partnered with Hamm, Inc. and Renewable Power Producers (RPP), LLC with the design, permitting, easement acquisition and construction of over seven miles of gas line for a landfill gas to energy gas project.
Facility will transpors 3.7 mmscf/day1 of high BTU gas2, to a connection point with a 36-inch diameter gas transmission pipeline.
Greatest challenge to the project was permitting through the Federal Aviation Administration to cross the Lawrence Municipal Airport.
Landplan produced construction documents for the entire gas line route, providing legal descriptions and exhibits for permanent and temporary construction easements for over 15 property owners, coordination with other utilities along the project route, coordination and permitting with local (Lawrence), county (Jefferson, Douglas, Leavenworth) and state agencies (Kansas Department of Transportation, Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Kansas State Historical Society, Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism), easement staking for property owners, construction staking, and collecting as-built data for record drawings.
